We've been named label of the year!

We've been bestowed the huge honour of being named Best Label of 2013 by XLR8R. To establish ourselves amongst such company as the other labels on the list (we won't ruin the surprise, click through to find out the top ten) was a long-term aim for us upon setting up Houndstooth; to have been placed at number 1 by a site which we have followed for years, which has brought so much good music to our attention and whose opinion we respect very highly, is nothing short of dumbfounding to us all here.

We were similarly esteemed by The Veal Pen blog. Whilst not as established as the likes of XLR8R, writer James Lawrence represents the simple passion for music that drives the community of music journalists and bloggers - a passion that comes through his The Veal Pen site as well as his writing for the likes of Resident Advisor and Mixmag.

Simply, thank you to both sites for your support.
