COMING SOON: Akkord - HTH020

Following yesterday's reveal of Throwing Snow's album opener, we're very happy to be sharing more brand new music forthcoming on the label today. 

On June 16th, we're releasing the next EP from Akkord. It doesn't have a title as such, so in the office we're just calling it by its catalogue number, HTH020. The EP displays Akkord's characteristic use of seismic sub-bass and surgical beats, but also shows a progression from last autumn's self-titled debut album. Premiering the track 'Continuum', FACT note that the duo are "absorbing even more jungle influence into their productions. [But] this ain’t a simple exercise in nostalgia, rather Akkord follow in the footsteps of Lee Gamble and the HATE crew, taking from the genre what they need and bolting on the rest as necessary."

In a first for the label, we are pressing the release to coloured vinyl - a silver-grey to match the cover artwork, which features a debossed logo. As usual, the 12" is cut to 180g vinyl by Matt Colton, and you'll get free WAV files when you order from our store. Pre-order now at a reduced rate!
