OUT NOW: Throwing Snow - Mosaic

The day has come! ‘Mosaic’, the long-awaited debut album from Throwing Snow, one of the UK’s most unique electronic artists, is out today. Its title reflects his piecing together of a wide array of influences, techniques and instrumentation to compose a coherent picture of his musical vision. This approach is evidenced by the multitude of ways he works with his guest vocalists on the LP – fellow Red Bull Music Academy alumni Adda Kaleh and KNOX; rising Brits Py, Jassy Grez and Russell Morgan; and Virginia’s Kid A – stretching from traditional song structures, through non-lyrical choruses, to pitch-shifted cut-ups. Meanwhile, the album's instrumental tracks range from paganistic behemoths, through drum-heavy workouts, to blissed-out epics, rounding off a debut album that is both technically impressive and emotionally beautiful.
