Our second release is out today, and comes from House of Black Lanterns - the brand new project from Dylan Richards, formerly known as King Cannibal (Ninja Tune) and Zilla (Warp). ‘Truth & Loss’ sets the tone for what’s to come with its epic dystopian darkness, licked by off-beat techno shuffles, and is complimented by a stunning D&B-meets-juke remix from Fracture. ‘Like A Warrior’ is a half-stepping collaboration with Trinidadian emcee, Juakali, whilst the EP closes with Richards’ techno take on Ghettozoid’s domination anthem ‘Boy Toy’. The tracks have received support from DJs as diverse as Roni Size, Paul Woolford, Untold and dBridge.
