Matthew Herbert, Blue Daisy and Richard Skelton take on Snow Ghosts

The third and final release from Snow Ghosts' debut LP 'A Small Murmuration' (following the digital release of 'Murder Cries' and the full release of 'And The World Was Gone') is the typically atmospheric 'Secret Garden', which has proven a live favourite, with its tumbling drums and infectious vocal refrains.

We've pulled in a range of hugely talented artists to round out the EP, each of whom reflects a different aspect of our musical tastes here in the Houndstooth offices. Avant-garde composer and multi-instrumentalist Richard Skelton deconstructs 'Secret Garden' into solemn, yet evocative ambience, whilst on the reverse, the experimental house music iconoclast Matthew Herbert coaxes it onto the dancefloor with typically idiosyncratic verve (with his remix also provided in instrumental form as a digital bonus).

Black Acre's Blue Daisy features on the album version of 'Covenant', and he returns here with Hey!Zeus under the Dahlia Black collective to round out the EP with a raw, horror-core influenced hip-hop remix.

'Secret Garden' is out on 10th February. The 12" release is strictly limited to 300 copies, cut to heavyweight 180g vinyl by Matt Colton. As ever, order from the Houndstooth store to receive free WAVs upon release, and pre-order your copy to receive a further discount.
