COMING SOON: Throwing Snow - Pathfinder EP

Throwing Snow was one of the earliest artists we announced we would be working with on Houndstooth, and after providing a home for his collaborative Snow Ghosts project, we're delighted to announce his first release on the label as a solo artist.

The Pathfinder EP is a route into a greater portion of work, its journey through wistful, far-flung melodies – full of unexpected rhythmic twists and propelled by bass – giving a sense of what is to come. The lead track features the vocals of fellow Red Bull Music Academy New York (in which Tones participated last year) alumnus Adda Kaleh who Pitchfork, who have the premiere, say, "provides a pop-focused sensibility amidst the abstract structure and arpeggiated tones that Tones (haha) provides."

The Pathfinder EP is released on 12" vinyl (cut & mastered by Matt Colton, and strictly limited to 300 copies) and digital on March 24th. Pre-order on vinyl from the Houndstooth store to receive a discount, and WAV files delivered to you upon release.
