COMING SOON: Second Storey meets Luke Vibert & Cristian Vogel

You may have noticed some stirrings around Second Storey in the last few days, and we're excited to announce his second single from his debut album 'Double Divide'. ‘One Sound’ intertwines Second Storey’s electro and bass music influences over six restless, bouncy minutes. Brand new ‘Layer Lock’ is equally frenetic, but echoes IDM in its micro-melodies and unconventional structure. Check it out over on Boiler Room Debuts, who say, "In terms of production technique AND ragged rave spirit [Second Storey]'s one of the best in the game, and his tracks are always superb – simple as that."

Two of Storey’s idols take up remix duties. Luke Vibert provides a sampladelic version of ‘One Sound’ (described as "erratic, demonic and frankly bonkers" by Mixmag), adding splashes of colour in the finest cut ’n’ paste style. Meanwhile Cristian Vogel transforms ‘Layer Lock’ into a shape-shifting head-nodder whose rhythmical shifts delight and confound in equal measure.
