OUT NOW: Throwing Snow - Pathfinder EP

Throwing Snow was one of the earliest artists we announced we would be working with on Houndstooth, and after providing a home for his collaborative Snow Ghosts project, we're delighted to announce that his first release on the label as a solo artist, the 'Pathfinder EP' is out today.

The songs on Pathfinder are a route into a greater portion of work, giving a sense of what is to come - keep your eye on your inbox for big Throwing Snow news dropping soon! The overall sound palette and feelings portrayed are what matter, not genre. The track titles on the EP are meant to reflect the music itself, with lead single 'The Tempest'(featuring the vocals of Adda Kaleh) building into sounds of a storm and'Pathfinder' evoking a tense and lost feeling before opening out into a clearing. 'Caedis' has been supported by Lauren Laverne on BBC Radio 6Music, amongst others, and 'Summus' closes the EP with a deceptively-building drum-led workout.

The 12" release is strictly limited to 300 copies, and cut to heavyweight 180g vinyl by Matt Colton. As ever, order from the Houndstooth store to receive free WAVs when you buy the vinyl. Also available to download now from iTunes and all digital stores.
