OUT NOW: Second Storey's debut LP, 'Double Divide'

We're delighted to announce that the debut album by Alec Storey (previously known as Al Tourettes, but now going by the name of Second Storey) is out now! The rhythmical mastery present on 'Double Divide' belies Alec's background as a drummer, but a keen ear for melody is also in evidence. DJ Broadcast say the album "finds Storey doing some of his finest sound design yet, layering a wide pallet of lush, otherworldly noises onto his syncopated rhythmic grid," whilst Mixmag extol the virtues of its wide range: "Aphex Twin taking a stab at rescoring Blade Runner is perhaps a good way of describing the downtempo soundscapes. Meanwhile, there’s something of the Hessle Audio about the higher-octane inclusions."

Buy the album from the Houndstooth store on double vinyl (and receive free WAVs), CD or digital, download from iTunes or stream on Spotify
